Saint Gabriel Spotlight is creating a dedicated public-safety and community-notice section to help residents find important local information quickly.
The section will share verified updates about severe weather, road closures, utility interruptions, emergency preparedness, traffic changes, missing persons, public-health notices, and other situations affecting the community.
Residents will also find helpful emergency contacts, safety tips, shelter information, and links to official City, parish, school, police, fire, and weather resources.
During an emergency, information can change quickly. Saint Gabriel Spotlight will identify the official source of each notice and encourage residents to follow instructions issued by the appropriate authorities.
Saint Gabriel Spotlight is an independent community platform and is not an emergency-response agency. Call 911 during an immediate emergency.
